Margaret Passmore Owen, 82 of Brevard, went home to be with the Lord June 27, 2017 where she is praising and Glorifying her Lord and Savior. She was the daughter of the late James Passmore and Eltis Osteen Passmore and the wife of the later Leonard Owen. Also preceding her in death are her sisters, Grace Passmore and Louise Crowe; brothers Donald Lee Passmore and Charles Passmore. Survivors include her children, Freda Branham of Ridgeway SC, Nancy Owen Whitmire and husband Leslie Whitmire of Brevard; Phillip Owen of Brevard, and Ethel Bingham and husband Jimmy Bingham of Brevard; sisters, Ruth Brown and husband Frank Brown of Brevard, Wanda Baumgarner and husband Roy Baumgarner of Cashiers; brother, Tommy Passmore and wife Rosalie of Hendersonville; brother-in-law, Jimmy Crowe of Brevard; sister-in-law, Ora Passmore of Brevard. She left behind 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 4 great- great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at Moody Connolly Funeral Home at 2:00 pm on Saturday, July 1, 2017. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
