Marguerite Joyce Cook, age 89, of Brevard, NC passed away on Friday, February 26, 2021. Marguerite was born in Greeneville, TN on March 28, 1931 to the late Lionel and Oda Rhea Dyer. She attended business school in Greeneville, TN and enjoyed her later work at Stepping Stones Day Care in Brevard, NC. She loved children, animals and nature dearly and was a lifelong member of Brevard-Davidson River Presbyterian Church. Marguerite is survived by her husband of 70 years, Henry Winston Cook, Jr.; two sons, Michael Winston Cook and wife Julie, and David Richard Cook and wife Kathy; one daughter, Annette Cook Carney; grandchildren, Christy, Heather, Kelly, Adam, Kristen and Amanda; and great-grandchildren whom she loved and adored. She is preceded in death by a son, Gary Wayne Cook. Marguerite was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
