Maria Violet Prasaquatte Jones, age 80 of Brevard died Wednesday June 16, 2010, at the Elizabeth House In Flat Rock. She was born March 18, 1930 in Brooklyn NY she was preceded in death by her Parents, Spouse Lonnie Lloyd Jones and two brothers Norwood and Lester Prasaquatte. Mrs. Jones was retired from Varners Drug Store, Forest Gate Restaurant and the Triangle. She attended Rosman Baptist Taberenacle. Survivors include one son; Rev. Lonnie Jones of Enoree SC, two daughters; Patti Jones Aiken of Brevard and Yvonne Jones Crowe of Buford SC, six grandchildren Adam Jones Enoree SC, Alicia Phillips and husband Ian, Samuel Aiken, Hope Aiken and Seth Aiken all of Brevard, and Chris Morgan of Greenwood SC. Funeral services will be held Friday June 18, 2010 at 2:00pm at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Lonnie Jones and Rev. Allen Aiken. Interment will follow at Turkey Creek Cemetery. The family will receive friends prior to the service Friday from 12:45 until 1:45pm at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
