Marie Wood Moody, age 84, of Brevard passed away, Friday, September 11, 2009, at Transylvania Regional Hospital. She was born in Jackson County to the late John Robert and Mattie Galloway Huston. Survivors include; One son Jack R. Wood, of Brevard, Two daughters, Joan Owen, and B.J. Ashe, and husband John, all of Pisgah Forest. Two grandchildren, Carol Osment, of Myrtle Beach, SC and Darin Wood, of Franklin, NC. Five great grandchildren also survive. Memorial Services will be held Saturday, September, 19, 2009, at 2:00 P.M. in the Chapel of Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Hoxit officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 till 2:00 P.M. Saturday, prior to the services.
