Obituary

Mrs. Marjorie Lamun Hardin, 91, passed away peacefully on November 29, 2021, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Tampa, Florida, the daughter of Hosea Earl Lamun and Olive Pearl Pentecost. Marjorie accepted Jesus as a teenager in Tampa, Florida. She loved the Lord and hoped everyone she knew would come to know Him. She had fond memories of following her sons and all their teammates in youth sports, i.e., baseball and football. Marjorie loved birds and could identify most of them. She loved Coach Bear Bryant and Alabama Football. She also loved Coach Bobby Bowden and Florida State Football. Besides college football, she had a special interest in Southern Gospel music and attended many live concerts with her North Carolina friends. She was a member of Cedar Mountain Baptist Church in North Carolina and Faith Baptist Church in Titusville, Florida. Marjorie is survived by her sons, Lawrence A. Hardin (Sharon) and Ronald N. Hardin (Kathryn); her grandchildren, Bryan S. Pricher, Elizabeth F. Hardin (Tracy), Heath R. Hardin (Stephanie), and Nicole V. Hardin (Tom). She is especially close to her cousin, Carole Tillis and niece, Brenda Gagner. Marjorie has a large extended family and she loved them all. She is preceded in death by her parents, Hosea and Olive Lamun, her husband, Norvin Burbank Hardin and her siblings, Robert Earl Lamun (Joyce) and Dorothy May Lamun (Walton). There will be a Funeral Service held for Mrs. Hardin at Faith Baptist Church (1220 N. Carpenter Rd, Titusville, FL 32796) on Saturday, December 4, 2021, at 1:00 PM, the family will be accepting friends and family for a visitation at 12 Noon. A week later another Funeral Service will take place for her North Carolina friends and family on Saturday, December 11, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Cedar Mountain Baptist, North Carolina (7765 Greenville Hwy Cedar Mountain, NC 28718) with a burial at Big Hill Cemetery, Brevard, North Carolina (4075 E. Fork Rd, Brevard, NC 28712). Services are in care of North Brevard Funeral Home and Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
