Marjorie Wilson Masters went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 16, 2021. She was born on August 6, 1939 to William "Bill" and Thelma "Polly" Wilson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and three grandsons, Jared and Austin Shannon, and Mason Gordon.
Mrs. Masters is survived by her husband of 62 years, Aaron Masters; sisters, June Newman and Annie Jean Pressley; her daughters, Cindy Guffey, Melanie Zachary and husband Gene; Kim Moretz; son, Greg Masters. She was a loving grandmother to Melissa McCoy, Logan Zachary, and Aaron Gordon; great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Schmidt, Grace Griffin, Sawyer McCoy, Piper Shannon, Bodie Shannon, and Kinsley Gordon.
She retired from Ecusta Corporation where she worked as a secretary for many years.
Mrs. Masters and her husband were members of Dunn's Creek Baptist Church where she served as church pianist, Sunday school teacher and wherever needed. She loved her church family and her life revolved around her church until she became ill.
She was also involved in the See-Off Community Center most of her life and enjoyed sharing her wonderful cooking skills with her friends and neighbors.
In honor of Marjorie's birthday, funeral services will be held 12noon, Friday, August 6, 2021 at The Church at See Off with the Revs. Michael Childress and Larry Wilson officiating. The family will receive friend one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow the service in the church cemetery.
