Marjorie Perrin Newkirk, age 87 formerly of Brevard, died Friday February 11, 2011 at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne Fl. She was born November 5, 1923 in Berry Kentucky to the late Mackendree Perrin and Stella Mae Million Perrin. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her grandson Lt. Col. Thomas A. Wren. Mrs. Newkirk was owner and operator of Christian Publications. Survivors include her husband William G. Newkirk Sr., two sons; William G. Newkirk Jr. Of Pisgah Forest and David C. Newkirk of Lawrenceburg Ind., one daughter; Carole Thifault of Tampa Fl., three brothers; Harold, Mac and Paul Perrin, three sisters; Mrs. Ann Foster, Dorothy True and Ruby King, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Saturday February 19, 2011 at 2:00 pm at at Pisgah Gardens.
