Mark Anthony Baker, 65, of Lake Toxaway, North Carolina, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 6, 2025.

Born to Royce Baker and Ruth Brown (Frank), Mark was preceded in death by his father, Royce Baker. He was a devoted member of Old Toxaway Baptist Church.

Mark is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Deana Fisher Baker; his sisters Debbie Baker, Glenda Owen (Gary), and Sheila Baker; his brother Andy Baker (Hattie); and his children Adam Baker (Tiffany) and Nicole McCoy (Billy). He was also a proud grampa to McKenna McCall (Sam), Carlie Baker, Keylan Baker, Maleah Hawkins, Tyler Williams, and Chayse Lewis, as well as a great-granddaughter, Ellie Jo.

Mark will be remembered for his faith in the Lord's love and commitment to his family . He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral services will be held 2pm, Sunday, January 12, 2025  at Old Toxaway Baptist Church with  Pastor Shaun Dodson and Marty Reid officiating.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Church Cemetery.
