Marlene McCall Head, age 65 of Brevard went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 17, 2018.

Mrs. Head was born on September 16, 1953 in Transylvania County to Burlin and Ernestine McCall of Brevard.

She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and was a member of Amazing Grace Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents survivors include her husband, Donald Head; her daughter, Desiree Caneice Abram of Brevard; her son, Sam Head and wife Nadine of Brevard; her sister, Martha Orr of Brevard; her brother, Marshall McCall and wife Sandy of Brevard; six grandchildren, Alyssa, Drew, Emma and Carson Abram, Zachary and Ezekiel Head; two nieces, Keturah Orr and Lissa Padgett.

The funeral service will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, November 20, 2018 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 12-2 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
