Rosman – Marquata Owen, 77, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2015.

She was the daughter of the late William and Ella Harris. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Christopher Lynn Owen and two brothers, Bill and Charles Harris.

She is survived by the father of her children, Bradley H. Owen; sons, Bradley Bryan Owen and wife Janice of Lake Toxaway, Jimmy Gene Owen and wife Lavonda of Rosman, William Howard Owen and wife Karyn of Rosman, Dennis Denton Owen and wife Holly of Rosman, Patrick Lee Owen and wife Pam of Rosman, Jefferson Drew Owen and wife Kim of Rosman and Trampas Stafan Owen and wife Dawn of Lake Toxaway; one brother, Bruce Harris of Rosman; one sister, Elgava Jones of Marrietta, SC; 20 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2pm, Sunday, December 27, 2015 at Macedonia Baptist Church with the Rev. Ray Von Galloway officiating. The family will receive friends 6pm – 8pm Saturday, December 26, 2015 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rock Bridge Cemetery. Everyone is invited to a reception following the graveside service at the Macedonia Baptist Church Fellowship Building.
