Mary Elizabeth Hogsed Bailey Brevard – Mary Elizabeth Hogsed Bailey, 88, passed away on Wednesday, December 24, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Carman and Leslie McGaha Hogsed. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Walter "Buddy" Bailey; granddaughter, Mary Ida Bridwell and seven brothers and sisters. Mary was a lifelong member of Dunns Creek Baptist Church. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and a devoted friend. She cared for everyone she met and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Surviving are her daughters; Carolyn Watkins of Greer, SC, Deborah Kinsey and husband Scotty of Brevard and Katherine Bridwell of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Carla Cook, Sheri Tinsley, David Kinsey, Jonathan Kinsey, Joshua Bailey, Dani Bailey and Larry Bridwell; eight great grandchildren and one great great grandson. A graveside service will be held 3:30pm, Sunday, December 28, 2014 at Dunns Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Don Littleton officiating. The family will receive friends at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home from 2pm until 3pm on Sunday, December 28, 2014.
