Mary Lucille Melton McFall, age 86 of Brevard died Tuesday December 8, 2009, at The Oaks of Brevard. She was born July 26, 1923 in Buncombe County to the late William J. Melton and Dona Bishop Melton. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Henry R. McFall. Mrs. McFall was retired from the Naval Credit Union Survivors include two daughters Mrs. Cynthia Hayslett and her husband Barry of Newport News VA. And Ms. Jane Charles of Brevard, one son Floyd N. McFall and his wife Jackie of Hopkins SC, two brothers Frank Melton of Avery's Creek and Jack Melton of Kennesaw Ga., one sister Mrs. Mary McKinney of Mills River and four grandchildren Corey and Holly Hayslett both of Newport News VA and Katlyn and Connor Charles both of Brevard. Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday December 13, 2009 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel conducted by Rev. Carl Bishop. Entombment will follow at Pisgah Gardens.
