Arden - Mary Sue McGraw, 83, passed away on May 12, 2026.

Mary was born on May 11, 1943, in Buncombe County to the late Myra Reed and Asbury Burris.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Barbara Searcy, Asbury Cordell, and Fredrick Roberts.

She graduated from West Henderson High School and went on to work at CTS for more than 20 years. She was known for her talent and passion for sewing, creating beautiful handmade items for family and friends. Mary also had a deep love for dogs and cherished her furry companions throughout her life. A woman of faith, she was a longtime member of her church.

She is survived by her three children, Djuna Hensley, Bridget Stephenson and Carla Reeves, grandchildren, Savannah, Allyssa, Aaron and Jesse, great grandchildren, Paislee, Millee, Justin, William, and Jackson.

A celebration of life service will be held at Pink Beds Picnic Area in Brevard, North Carolina on Sunday May 24, 2026 from 12- 3pm.

The family appreciates the thoughts and prayers offered during this time and invites friends to celebrate a life that she lived in its fullest.
