Mary Jane (McCall) Pierson, 92, of the Little River Community went home to her Lord and Savior Tuesday, September 21, 2021. She was born June 11, 1929 to the late Roscoe and Sophia McCall. She was a graduate of Brevard High School. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Robert Henry Pierson and by her brother, T.R. McCall. Those left to cherish her memory include her two nephews, Mark(Dolly) McCall and Tim (Tammy) McCall. Great niece, Brieanna McCall, great nephews, Andy (Emily) McCall, Avery (Molly) McCall, Ross McCall, and Sam McCall. All of these she loved and touched deeply. She especially enjoyed many visits and daily phone calls with her 1st cousin, Barbara Putnam. Mary Jane retired from Ecusta Corporation where she was the secretary of the power and water department. She was known for her meticulous record keeping. She was a lifelong member of Little River Baptist Church where she served as the church clerk for many years and took great pride in decorating the Chrismon tree during Christmas. Mary Jane had a love for traveling, hiking, and was an avid photographer of nature. She especially enjoyed knitting and making blankets for 'project Linus' Special thanks to Shirleys Angels, Sam's Home Care and Care Partners Hospice for taking great care of Mary Jane.
