Minnie Lou Vaughan, age 77 of Brevard died Wednesday February 16, 2011, at her residence. She was born September 10, 1933 in Polk Co., NC to the late John K. Griffin and Pansy Green Griffin. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her spouse L.B. Vaughan Jr. and a sister Betty Eubanks. She was a retired medical receptionist and a member of Grace Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter; Deborah Holden and husband Gary of Brevard, two sisters; Louise Murphy and Fannie Corn both of Hendersonville and two grandchildren Derek Holden and his wife Tenille and Stephaine Holden. Funeral Services will be held Saturday February 19, 2001 at 2:00 PM at Moody Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Tommy Owen officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00pm prior to the service. Interment will be at Pisgah Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the Vision Fund at Grace Baptist Church, 10 West Holden Rd. Brevard NC 28712
