Obituary

Pisgah Forest - Molly K. Morgan, 91, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 22, 2023.  A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Carl Killian, Sr. and Elsie Gray Killian.  She was also preceded in death by her husband Charles W. Morgan, a son, Charles Dennis Morgan and her brother Carl Killian, Jr.

Surviving are her sons Stephen G. Morgan of Leicester and Kevin C. Morgan and wife Treva of Blantyre; daughter Janet Macherzak and husband Samuel of Etowah; sister-in-law Pat Morgan of Blantyre; grandsons Jonathan Morgan and wife Sarah of Hendersonville, Gregory Morgan of Brevard, and Jordon Morgan and wife Hailey of Hendersonville; great-grandchildren Rowyn, Gabriel and Jamie Morgan; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Morgan was a homemaker who loved her family.  She was a member of Blantyre Baptist Church (and previously of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church).  She was well known in the community for her cooking, especially desserts.

A private burial will be in Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.  A Celebration of Life will be held for all who knew and loved Molly.  This casual event, with refreshments, will be hosted by her family on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall at Blantyre Baptist Church.
