Monica Newton Moore, 53, of Brevard, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday morning, August 30, 2023, at her home.

She was the daughter of the late Harold Dean Newton Sr. and Rose Conlee Newton. She was also the granddaughter of late Burt Owen and Rosie Stamey Owen and late Glen Newton and Myrtle Newton,  who also preceded in her death.

She was a member of the Affirmative Word Tabernacle Church.

Surviving are her husband, David Eugene Moore, of 36 years; sons Jonathon David Moore and wife  Madison Moore, both from Brevard, and  Kaleb Eugene Moore and wife Nancy Moore both also from Brevard; brother, Harold Dean Newton Jr. and wife Pamela Newton both from Brevard. She has five loving grandchildren, which she loves very much, and all of them were her whole world.

The funeral  service will be at 2pm Saturday, September 2nd, 2023, at Moody Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Randy Stamey and Reverend Troy Stamey both officiating her services. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
