Brevard – Myirl Lee Chappell, 76, passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2016. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Hovey and Ellie Alexander Chappell. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Effie Reeves. Survivors include two sisters, Helen Perry of Brevard and Bobby Ramsey of York, SC; three brothers, George Chappell of Brevard, Jerry Chappell of Lenoir, and James Chappell of Bradenton, FL; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and cousins. The funeral service will be held at 3 PM Wednesday, May 18, 2016 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
