Myra Faye Helms Brevard – Myra Faye Helms, 63, passed away on Monday, September 15, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Blennie Leonard Stillwell and Thelma Bernice Garris Stillwell. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Myra was a member of The Words of Life Tabernacle. She made every effort to serve others and adored her children and grandchildren. Surviving are her children; Thomas Helms and wife Jamie, Pamela Spann, Denise Hendricks and husband Tim and Brenda Simpson, brother; Steven Stillwell, sister; Teresa Stillwell, many grandchildren, one great grandchild. A graveside service will be held 2pm, Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:30pm at the funeral home.
