Brevard – Myrtle Ruth Miley Allan, 86, passed away on Saturday, October 15, 2016. She was born in Boston, GA to the late Allen T. Miley and Elizabeth Proctor Miley. She was a resident of Brevard since 1980. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her son, Larry Allan. Survivors include her sons, David Allan of Raleigh, Gary Allan of Asheville, and Donald Allan and wife Joyce of Ft. Pierce, FL; brother, Othar Eugene Miley of Savannah, GA; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 5 PM Wednesday, October 19, 2016 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
