Myrtle Whitehead Clanton Brevard – Myrtle Whitehead Clanton, 100, passed away on Monday, July 21, 2014. She was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mary Belle Christian Whitehead and was the wife of the late Columbus New Years Clanton. She was also preceded in death by a son, Roy Clanton. Surviving are children, June Maxine Clanton, Sara Alice Hubbard, Seppie Yvonne Owen, Irma Gaynella Okada, and David Ray Clanton; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
