Nadean Campbell Belshaw, beloved mother of Tim, Rick, Ted and Jay and devoted wife of Jack, died February 24 at age 77. Life's journey took her many places – her favorites were Florence, South Carolina and Kilkenny, Ireland – and brought her valuable friendships which she kept close to heart. Nadean was a lover of words, a voracious reader, and a crossword expert. A champion bowler, she was also a member of the hole-in-one club and a lively competitor at the card table. She loved music, especially Clair de Lune, and if the fireplace was crackling just right and the jeweled sky was bright she would request ABBA and break out some dance moves. Nadean loved the beauty of nature and she was strong in life as she was in death. She is survived by her oldest son, Tim, her youngest son, Jack Jr. of Marion, SC, daughters-in-law Georgia Lake of Cayce, SC, Wendy Bartley of Kure Beach, NC, and Marlo Belshaw of St. Augustine, FL, five grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter.
