Brevard - Nancy Rae Pearce, age 79, passed away September 20, 2020. She is preceded in death by her partner, Rebecca Smith, her parents, Betty and Raymond Pearce of Rockford, Illinois and brother John R. Pearce, Sorrento, Florida. Her kind and loving spirit will be missed by many especially her sister Susan Donaldson (Dave)Brevard, sister in law Sherrie Pearce of Sorrento Florida, nieces Tracey Weinstein (Michael) New Orleans, Laura McIntosh (Matt) Sorrento, Florida, Chad Donaldson (Jennie)San Diego, Bradley Pearce Sorrento, Florida. Nancy grew up in Rockford, Illinois. She was a flight attendant for Eastern Airlines, first in Florida and then in Charlotte before moving to California. She was co owner of several board and care facilities in California before moving to Brevard to retire. She volunteered in California for domestic abuse facilities and weekly on a hotline for suicide prevention. Nancy's love for cooking and entertaining was featured on several culinary demonstrations, broadcast on California TV. She also was at peace in her garden whether it be cultivating flowers or vegetables. Services will be private.
