To know her is to love her — remembering Nathalie Marie Britt

February 16, 1988 – October 23, 2025

Nathalie Marie Britt (Moffitt), 37, of Brevard, North Carolina, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on October 23, 2025, surrounded by those who loved her most.

Born and raised in Brevard, Nathalie's life was filled with faith, laughter, and an unshakable desire to serve others. From an early age, she knew her calling was to care for people, and she fulfilled that purpose wholeheartedly as both a paramedic and firefighter. Her courage and compassion touched countless lives and left a lasting mark on everyone she served.

Her faith was her foundation — the steady light that guided her through every season of life. Nathalie faithfully attended church and had been attending Biltmore Church of Brevard, where she found strength, community, and joy in worship.

After being diagnosed with Fanconi Anemia, at the age of 8, Nathalie refused to let that define her or limit her dreams. She faced every challenge with grace, strength, and an unwavering faith in God. Whether she was deep in competition at game night, laughing with friends, surrounded by family, or cheering loud with her cowbell at the ballgame, Nathalie's energy and heart made everyone feel seen, supported, and loved. And through it all, her loyal dog Charlie was always faithfully by her side — a constant companion who shared in her love and joy for life.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparents, Dwight and Kathryn Moffitt, and Joan Barrie. She is survived by her parents, Hank and Robin Moffitt; her sister, Hilary McCall (Daniel); and her treasured nephew, Tucker — along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and dear friends (Golden Girls!) who became family.

Nathalie's vibrant spirit, servant's heart, and joyful laughter will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
