Nettie G. Adcock Nettie G. Adcock, 84, died Thursday, December 9, 2010 in Sacramento, CA. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Thurman Robert Galloway and Bessie Chapman Galloway and was the wife of the late Ceivalle W. Adcock, Jr. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Alvin and Nelvin Galloway. Surviving are her children, Charon Bird, Steve Adcock and wife Karin, and Kathy Parks and husband David; sisters, Cleo Lance and Esther Walker; five grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren. The graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, December 18, 2010 at Pisgah Gardens with the Rev. Ron Nelson officiating.
