Nettie Lewis Shook Etowah – Nettie Lewis Shook , 92, passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014. Nettie was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Galyean Lewis. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband Leon Shook, two brothers and seven sisters. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mills River. She was also a member of the Sylvan Valley Garden Club. Surviving are her daughter; Sharon Brown , grandchildren; Jeff Brown and Stephanie Austin and great grandchildren; Ashlee Brown, Johnathan and Kate Austin all of Etowah. A memorial service will be held 3pm, Sunday, June 1, 2014 at First United Methodist Church of Mills River. Burial is private.
