Nola Mae Owen, age 80, died Thursday January 17, 2013. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Elyira McCall Hogsed. Surviving Mrs. Own are her sons Bill McCall, Rick McCall, step sons Devon Owen, Eddie Lee Owen, David Owen and Larry Owen; daughters Pat Owen, Jane Gardner, Rita London, step-daughters Legina Galloway, Peggy Owen, Susan Easterling and Holly Owen; brother A.C. Hogsed and sister Lillie Mae Owen; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held Saturday January 19, 2013 at 2:00pm at At Moody-Connolly Funeral home Chapel.
