Paul Hamilton Shamblin Jr. born January 18, 1946 in Charleston, West Virginia ascended to Heaven on Saturday January 2nd, 2010. Paul is preceded in death by hi s father Paul Hamilton Shamblin Sr. Paul is survived by his mother Betty M. Farris of Johnson City, IL., his wife Karen D. Shamblin of Lake Toxaway, NC., daughter Shari L. Chapman and her husband Steve of Lake Toxaway, NC., son Kristopher B. Shamblin and his wife Stephanie of Lake City FL., daughter Connie L. Hill and husband William of Prattville AL., daughter Christi Butler of St. Cloud, FL., along with 21 grandchildren. Paul worked in the Air-conditioning, Heating, and electrical fields until he became ill in 1983. He loved his guns, fishing, scuba diving, his many, many dogs over the years, but most of all just being with all his family. Funeral services will be held January 5th, 2010 at 2:00pm at Moody-Connolly funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00pm until 2:00pm prior to the service at the Funeral Home. Burial will be at Pisgah Gardens. Rev. Ron Nelson will be officiating.
