Pauline Daves McCall Pinhook Valley – Pauline Daves McCall, 85, passed away on Thursday, August 8, 2013 at her residence. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Evangel and Rhoda Owen Daves and was the wife of the late Herbert L. McCall. She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Christine McCall, and a son-in-law, Leon Owen. Mrs. McCall was of the Baptist faith. Surviving are her sons, Curtis Herbert McCall and wife Hazel of Brevard, and Kenneth McCall of Tuckasegee; daughter, Jerlene Owen of Tuckasegee; brother, Edgar Daves and wife Donna Vee of Rosman; grandchildren, Terri Owen, D'Ree McCall, Jonathan McCall and wife Jessica; great-grandchildren, Walker and Brooke McCall; niece, Louise Daves. The funeral service will be held at 3 PM Saturday, August 10, 2013 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ray Von Galloway officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
