Pisgah Forest - Peggy J. Hooper, 80, passed away on Friday, March 10, 2023.

Dementia may have taken her mind but not her sense of humor. Peggy was born July 29, 1942 to Charles Flippo and Laura Wood in Fredericksburg, VA.

She was also preceded in death by a brother, Junior Flippo, her son's father Jerry Littleton, Mike Beaver, and husband James Hooper.

She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church. She loved the ocean, collecting seashells, and listening to music. If you did not find her inside cleaning her house you would find her outside doing yard work.

Survivors include her sister Florence Griffin; brother Greg Cardwell; Sons: J-Max (Kathy) Littleton, Timothy (Tracey) Littleton, James Alan (Linda) Littleton, and Kevin (Melissa) Littleton; grandchildren: Heather (Jeremiah), Rachel, Jasmine, Nathaniel (Krystin), LeAnne, Garan; and great grandchildren: Jacob, Addie Mae, Ava, Morgan, Kate, Niko, and Boaz and a number of nieces and nephews.

A special Thank You to the Kingsbridge House of Brevard and Four Seasons Hospice.

A memorial service will be held 6pm, Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Moody Connolly Funeral Home. The family will receive friends following the service.
