Phyllis Bowen Corn, 78, of Pisgah Forest, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday October 24, 2020. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Arthur Bowen and Gwendolyn Poland Bowen of Brevard. Phyllis was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Midway Bible Baptist Church where she attended regularly when her health would allow. She never met a stranger and enjoyed being surrounded by family and friends. Survivors include, brother Bill Bowen and wife Sheree of Forest, Virginia; daughter Rene' Corn Greene and husband Scottie of Pisgah Forest, son David Corn and wife Connie of Hendersonville; grandchildren Shane Greene and wife Heather of Pisgah Forest, Olivia Ducker and husband Ryan of Hendersonville, Will Corn and wife Tiffany of Penrose; several great grandchildren, two nephews and a great niece. The funeral services will be held 2pm Friday, October 30, 2020 in the sanctuary of Midway Bible Baptist Church with the Rev. Ricky Lee and Rev. Allen Aiken officiating. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service. Burial to follow in the Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory.
