Phyllis Ann Murphy Thomas Rosman – Phyllis Ann Murphy Thomas, 68, passed away on Saturday, April 11, 2015 at her residence after suffering from cancer for 3 years. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Murphy and Lena Love Murphy. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Brenda Gantt and her brother, Larry Murphy. Surviving are her husband, Bobby Scott Thomas, Sr.; sons, Bobby Scott Thomas, Jr. of Brevard and Mickey Lee Thomas of Berea, KY; sisters, Geralene Raines of Pickens, SC, Betty Murphy and Myra Vial and husband Robert all of Rosman; granddaughter, Halee Thomas of Penrose.
