Ralph Darwin Conn, Sr., 71, "Brevard's Leprechaun" passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2010 at Transylvania Regional Hospital. A native of Point Marion, PA, he was the son of the late Robert Conn and Frances Conn Matthews. He was also preceded in death by his brother, Robert Conn. Surviving are his wife, Fran Conn; children, Teresa Wells and husband Jim of Vale, NC, Ralph "Chip" Conn, Jr. of Rock Hill, SC, Robert Andrew "Andy" Conn of Raleigh, NC, and Kevin Conn and wife Brenda of Stanley, NC; seven grandchildren, seven great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 6 until 9 pm Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
