Randall Richard McCall, age 66 of Balsam Grove, went home to the Lord Monday September 21,2009 . He was a native of Transylvania County and the son of the late Richard Rufus and Callie McCall McCall. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother Rufus Vernon McCall and two sisters Delpha Cox and Vera M. McMinn. Randall was a very loving and encouraging husband, father and grandfather, and a faithful member of Pinhook Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife Brenda Hensley McCall of Balsam Grove, three sons; Keith Holden and wife Debbie and Kevin Holden and wife Laura all of Balsam Grove and Kris McCall and wife Erika of Rosman; two sisters Reba Smith of Brevard and Donnie Vee McCall of Etwoah; five grandchildren Karyn Deloach and Kristy Freiehoff, Michael Holden, Kerry Holden and Abigal McCall and a very close extended family. Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 24, 2009, at 11:00 AM at Shoal Creek Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Shoal Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Wednesday evening from 7 till 9 PM at the funeral home.
