Reba Elizabeth Painter Blankenship, 83, of Penrose, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2014. As a member of Little River Baptist Church, she taught Sunday school and was a dedicated friend to the congregation. Survivors include her son, Tom Blankenship, of Charleston, S.C .; grandchildren, Brandi Harris and husband, Clay, of Penrose, Shannon Gueho, of Charleston, Billy Blankenship, of Auburn, Ala ., and great-grandchildren, Ian and Dalton Stepp and Brittany Corn, all of Hendersonville, and Trey Harris, of Penrose. Service will be held at Little River Baptist Church, Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at 6 p.m. Moody-Connolly Funeral Home & Crematory is in charge of the arrangements.
