Rebecca Vaughan Ashbaugh, 76, of Brevard passed away on Tuesday December 19, 2017. She was the daughter of the late Lud and Elizabeth Walker Vaughan. She was preceded in death by her brothers, L. B. and John Vaughn. Mrs. Ashbaugh was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. Survivors include her sons, Donald Mallwitz of Rosman and Jonathon Mallwitz of Brevard; daughters; Katherine Ashmore of Brevard and Rose Keener and husband Michael of Brevard; brothers, William, Tommy and Joe Vaughan; sisters, Gracie Owen and husband Curtis of Pisgah Forest and Virginia Clanton and husband David of Brevard; grandchildren, Robby, Crystal, Jessica Hope, Rebecca Michelle, Scott, Amber, Christopher and Heidi.
