Brevard - Rebecca Louise Massingale Gravely, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 31, 2022. Born on September 22, 1945 in Sylva, NC to the late Spurgeon and Bessie Dills Massingale, she lived the majority of her life in Brevard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Leeward Hoxit, Lowell Massingale, Vondell Massingale, Spurgeon "Jr" Massingale, and sisters Alma McCall and Karen Ann Perry. Survivors include her daughter Beverly McJunkin, grandchildren Brenna and Spencer Blevins, and sisters Willa Mae McCall and Ruby Fisher. At the request of Mrs. Gravely, no services will be held.
