Brevard – Rebecca Allison Wilkie, 80, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011 at Transylvania Regional Hospital. A native of Transylvania County, she was the daughter of the late Clarence Laughton Allison and Edith Sherrill Allison and was the wife of the late Carl Howard Wilkie. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Wanda Sherrill Allison. Mrs. Wilkie was a member of Pisgah Forest Baptist Church. Surviving are her daughter, Allison W. McCall and husband Michael of Pisgah Forest; son, Brantley Wilkie and wife Pam of Lincolnton, NC; twin sister, Reba Allison Wilkie and husband Harvey of Greenville, SC; grandchildren, Tyler J. McCall of Boiling Springs, NC, Matthew C. McCall of Pisgah Forest, Raynor Wilkie and wife Heather of Gastonia, NC, and Shawn Galloway and wife Jenna of Erwin, TN; several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, July 28, 2011 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. David Spray and Ken Lewis officiating. Burial will be in Pisgah Gardens. The family will receive friends from 12:30 pm until 1:45 pm Thursday at the funeral home. There will be a Celebration of Life dinner at 5:00 pm Thursday at the home of her daughter, Allison.
