Reginald A."Dink" Jeffers, 60, passed away Monday, March 15, 2010 at the Memorial Campus of Mission Hospitals. Born in Jefferson County, Texas, he was the son of Florence Thompson Jeffers of Brevard and the late Frank L. Jeffers, Sr. Surviving in addition to his mother are one daughter, Regina Dee Jeffers Pierce of Brevard; one brother, Frank L. Jeffers, Jr. of Brevard; two sisters, Colleen Josey of Austin, TX and Mary Elizabeth Cotton of Pisgah Forest; two grandchildren, Logan Emily Pierce and Connor Anthony Pierce. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Friday, March 19, 2010 in the Chapel of Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with the Rev. Pete Lee officiating. Burial will follow in Pisgah Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 am Friday prior to the services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Carr's Hill Baptist Charity Fund, 2719 Greenville Hwy., Brevard, NC 28712.
