Richard Hampton Holden age 57, of Brevard,passed away Friday, August 21, 2009 At his residence. He was born January 1952 in Transylvania County to the late Harmon and Mozell West Holden. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife Lydia C. Holden. Survivors include one brother Perry Holden of Rosman; two sisters Mrs. Virginia Owen of Pisgah Forest and Mrs. Ollie Mae Feilke of Charlotte. Graveside services will be held at 2:00pm Wednesday August 26, 2009 at Pisgah Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday August 25, 2009 from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home.
