Richard G. Ronneburger of Brevard, NC passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, March 10th at the age of 78. Richard is predeceased by his parents James and May Ronneburger, his brother Jimmy, and daughter Diane. Richard is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Sylvia. Richard is lovingly remembered by his two daughters: Dorothy Trent, husband Johnny Trent of Amelia Island, Florida; Dale Wood, husband Michael Wood of Brevard; and 1 son, Richard J. Ronneburger, wife Katrina D. Ronneburger of Pisgah Forest; and nine loving grandchildren. Richard was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 21st, 1936. He graduated from Bartram High School, received his master plumbing degree in Miami Florida. He served as an MP in the United States Marine Corp. He worked as a plumbing contractor for many years, owned and operated Brevard Plumbing and finished his career as the plumbing Inspector for Transylvania County for 10 years. Richard enjoyed playing golf and basketball. He was a long time member of the Dunn's Rock Masonic Lodge, Shriner's International and Glen Cannon Country Club. The visitation will be held Moody-Connolly Funeral Home, 181 S. Caldwell St. Brevard, NC on Thursday, March 12th from 5 PM -- 7 PM. The funeral service will be held at Brevard Wesleyan Church, 583 North Broad Street, Brevard, NC on Friday, March 13th at 1 pm with Pastor Richard Jelley and Pastor Hank Moffitt officiating.
