Lake Toxaway – Robert(Bob) William Beasley, 85, passed away on August 21, 2015 after a brief illness. Bob was born in Sylva, NC on October 8, 1929. He was a member of North Toxaway Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis J. Beasley and Artie Dillard Beasley, and his sister, Dora Beasley Shuler. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Betty Miller Beasley; daughters Deborah Jean Beasley of Raleigh, NC, Janice Beasley Wiley and son-in-law, Charles A. Wiley, Jr. of Atlanta, GA; granddaughters, Megan Sutton and grandson-in-law Andy Tait of Asheville, NC, Brittany Baugher of Charlotte, NC and Sarah Baugher of Charleston, SC, and two great grandsons, Jasper Tait and Ellis Tait. Visitation is at North Toxaway Baptist Church Tuesday, August 25 from 6-8pm. The Funeral Service is Wednesday, August 26, 11am at North Toxaway Baptist Church.
