Robert Daniel Hale, 77, of Brevard, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 2, 2012 at Transylvania Regional Hospital. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late James Thomas Hale and Bruna Ray Hale. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Hazel Kilpatrick and brother, Elward Hale. Mr. Hale was a member of Selica Worship Center. Surviving are his daughters, Robbin H. Patterson of Asheville, and Roanne Hale of Brevard; sisters, Myrtle Bush of Albany, GA, Roberta Dodson of Brevard, and Nell Vickers of Harrisburg, NC; grandchildren, Nikki Patterson, Christopher Patterson, Andrew Patterson, Jared Patterson, Jennifer Hale, Amanda Hale, and Christian Hale; great-granddaughter, Emma Grace Patterson; nephew, Roger Dodson, and many other nephews, nieces and cousins. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Monday, March 5, 2012 at the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home chapel. The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service.
