Robert Hall Hunter, 88, passed away on Wednesday, October 18, 2017. A native of Buncombe County, he was the son of the late Fred Craig Hunter and Gladys Clevenger Hunter. Survivors include his wife, Jeanne Wiley Hunter; three sons, Robert Cleveland Hunter and wife Shirley of Atlanta, GA, Fred Michael Hunter of Brevard, and James Paul Hunter of Lilburn, GA; two daughters, Catherine Rebecca Barber and husband Robert of Clearwater, FL, and Sharon Marie Arnold of Grayson, GA; one brother, John Craig Hunter and wife Geneva of Winston-Salem; nine grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren. The memorial service will be held at 5 PM Saturday, October 21, 2017 in the Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
