Robert (Bob) Lynn Jamerson, age 76, of Brevard passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024, at 1:34 PM at Mission Hospital, Asheville, NC.

Bob was born on April 21, 1947, in Rosman, NC to the late William Andrew and Alma Crowe Jamerson. Bob was a proud Navy veteran, having served his country during the Vietnam War. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Idell Berry, Ophelia Rogers, Mildred Rogers, Siva Rogers, Ruth Aiken, Shirley Ashe, Janet Ponder; brothers James, William, Charles, Edward, and Larry Jamerson.

Surviving family includes his wife of nearly 37 years, Kathy; a son, Drew of Clyde, NC; a daughter, Ashleigh of Franklin, NC; a sister, Brenda Mahoney of Rosman; and many nieces and nephews.

Bob enjoyed fishing, deer hunting with his brothers, sports of all kinds (especially the Tar Heels), coin-collecting, and making deer jerky for people. He was a very loving and generous husband, father, and friend.

A memorial service will be held at Moody-Connolly Funeral home on Saturday, March 23, 2024, at 2 PM. The family will receive friends at 1 PM prior to the service.
