Robert H. Jones 78, of Etowah, died after a long struggle with cancer Thursday August 8, 2013. He was born in Spring Valley IL to late Harold Lloyd Jones and Marguerite Wall Jones. Mr. Jones was a retired accountant, CFO and CEO. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Etowah Lions Club and American Legion Post 77 of Hendersonville. He is Survived by loving wife of 51 years Emily and sons Jeffrey of Covington KY, Neil of Etowah, Todd of Hendersonville and Brett of East Peoria IL, daughter- In-Law Trixie of East Peoria IL, grandsons Tyler,Ryan and David, Brother Richard and wife Grace of Hendersonville, Brother-In-Law Mike and his wife Judie White of Springfield IL, Borther-In-Law Donald and his wife Shirley White of Everett MA and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at Moody-Connolly Funeral Home Monday evening from 6:30pm until 8:30pm and again from 10:30am until 11:00am at the church prior to the Celebration of Life Mass on Tuesday August 13, 2013.
