Robert Orr MacMath May 26, 1951 - March 4, 2022 Robert (Bob) Orr MacMath of Pisgah Forest, NC (formerly of Bound Brook, NJ) died on March 4, 2022, at age 70. Bob was born in Somerville, NJ to his parents Robert O. MacMath Jr. and Marion Orr MacMath on May 26, 1951. He was a graduate of Bound Brook High School in Bound Brook, NJ and Carnegie Melon University in Pittsburgh, PA. Bob spent most of his career working for Ecusta in Brevard, NC before retiring from Seigwerk USA Inc in Inman, SC. One of his favorite pastimes was walking in the Blue Ridge Mountains with his wife and special canine pal, Gus. Bob is preceded in death by his daughter Elizabeth (Beth) and his parents, Robert and Marion MacMath. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Betty Jo (Lowe) MacMath of Pisgah Forest, his daughter Carrie Brown and his grandson, Harrison both of Boone, NC. Bob is also survived by his sisters: Mary Pullin (husband Dave) of Earlysville, VA and Lois Sargent of South Bound Brook, NJ as well as two nieces and one nephew. The family sends sincere thanks to the Elizabeth House – Four Seasons Hospice Center in Flat Rock, NC, and the Little River Fire Department, as well as Jennifer Greene and the Transylvania EMS for their extremely compassionate care of Bob in his final days.
