Robert Wayne McCall, 66, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Beystone Health and Rehabilitation, Fletcher following a lengthy illness. A native of Transylvania County, he was the son of the late Ira Clingman McCall and Vera Ellen Owen McCall. He was also preceded in death by his brother, James Cecil McCall. Mr. McCall was a member of Shoal Creek Baptist Church. He enjoyed horticulture and photography. He was a carpenter by trade. Surviving are his daughters, Karen Galloway and husband Bucky of Mills River, and Kelly Parker and husband Jeff of Pisgah Forest; son, Mickey McCall and wife Tracy of Hereford, TX; sisters, Joyce Bell, Keitha Reid and Barbara McCall all of Balsam Grove; and Nina Whitmire and husband Steve of Rosman; grandchildren, Kennedy and Graham Galloway, Carson McCall, and Ashton Parker. The memorial service will be held at 4 pm Saturday, January, 21, 2012 at Shoal Creek Baptist Church with the Revs. Buster McCall and Tommy Owen officiating.
