Roberta Tinsley Ramey, age 77 of Brevard went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 6, 2020. She was the daughter of the late George and Mary Etta Smith Tinsley. Roberta was a member of the Brevard Wesleyan Church. She loved her church family. Roberta especially adored her grandchildren. She enjoyed eating "peaches and puddin" at the Pisgah Fish Camp. She also enjoyed playing at home with her kittens. Survivors include her loving husband, David Ramey, one daughter, Linda Shetters of Sapphire, two brothers, James F. Hensley of Etowah and Bob Caldwell of Pinellas Park, FL, two sisters, Betty Early and husband Richard of Horseshoe and Mary Helen Galloway of Brevard, two grandchildren, Rhiannnon Queen and husband Allen of Huntersville, NC and Nathan Orr and wife Nicci of Brevard, five great grandchildren, Jaylynn and Jaxson Orr and Parker, Hudson and Emma Queen. Graveside services will be held 11am, Thursday, September 10, 2020 at Blue Ridge Gardens of Memory. A memorial service will be held 2:30pm, Thursday, September 10, 2020 at the Brevard Wesleyan Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
