Ronald Roy Reed Ronald Roy Reed, 63, of Brevard, passed away on Monday, September 10, 2012. Mr. Reed was born in Buncombe County to the late Roy Lee Reed and the late Thelma Ayers Reed. Mr. Reed was a member of Morningside Baptist Church and also served in the US Army in Vietnam and was a member of the local VFW. Along with his parents, Mr. Reed was preceded in death by his brother, Ricky Reed. Surviving Mr. Reed are his wife, Judy J. Reed and son Jeremiah Reed. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, 2012 in the chapel of Moody-Connolly Funeral Home with Rev. Bill Voorhees officiating.
